The vault
The Solana wallet that receives creator fees and pays builders every day: its address, its rules, and how to check everything.
Sandbox runs on Solana with no contract to deploy: games are signed by their creator’s wallet, and rewards go through a vault, a dedicated Solana wallet that receives the $SANDBOX creator fees and pays them out to builders every day.

The vault’s rules
| What | How |
|---|---|
| What comes in | The token’s creator fees, transferred in SOL. Every deposit is public on Solscan. |
| What goes out | Only the daily payouts to the creators of played games, computed by the public formula. |
| When | Every day at 00:15 UTC, for the round that just closed. |
| Reserve | 0.01 SOL stays in the vault to pay transaction fees. |
| Who signs | The vault key is held by the Sandbox server, which runs the payout automatically. |
What is not on chain
The day’s weights are computed by the server from the recorded runs, then paid. So this is an operated vault, not an autonomous contract: everything is checkable (deposits, payouts, standings), but the server is the one that executes.
Publishing without a contract
Publishing costs no transaction: the game document is pinned, then the creator signs its hash with their Solana wallet (signMessage, checked with ed25519). That signature ties the game to that wallet, and that wallet receives the payouts.
Checking everything
The vault balance, the standings and every payout with its transactions:
